i basically binged Eight Days of Diana Wynne Jones (for me, I don't listen to podcasts) and they convinced me to read Nine Princes in Amber (which was ok) and reread Archer's Goon (which really is NPIA but better and with fewer princes it's true)

i decided jury duty was an excuse to start reading yet another book and brought Joseph Amato's Rethinking Home with me. i am not sure what i think of it. it's mostly suggesting potential subjects for local historians to explore
