People should be able to buy whatever they want with it. Yes, lobster. Yes, hot food. Yes, cigarettes. Yes, heroin. Give people cash, is what I'm saying
The wealthy are always so GD worried some poor people are gonna commit some small time fraud. Meanwhile, big corporations are committing HUGE afraid. Just look at defense contractors.

Why? Because we have all been taught to see the wealthy as virtuous and to see the poor as lazy and unworthy.

I feel like HBO is messing with us. They’re introducing a show called “Love and Death” featuring Elizabeth Olsen, who famously starred in a Disney+ show about love and death with a robot. But before that, Netflix already had a show called Love, Death, and Robots!

My female-presenting kids will often start sassy comments with “bro” or “gurl”, but not paying any attention to the gender of the person they’re talking to. They’ll tell me “Gurl, you need to shave” or their mother “Bro, are you doing Lego again?”

So we now appear to be up to at least 80 Venezuelans killed.

For an operation that anonymous admin officials said yesterday was"virtually flawless."

The previews before Anaconda include two movies that seem like they have the exact same premise: a woman is being hunted by rich people because they’re evil and they can.

Liberals don't have the stomach. They lose one election and talk like " I've made my peace hbu?"

I've been a leftist my entire adult life and we lose every single day. Its a cycle of be proven right, lose, get blamed, repeat. You just get up every day hoping to lose a little better than last time
The "Do Something Now" folks, Free Palestine Movement folks, Dearborn folks, AIPAC is bad folks, Hillary & Kamala were bad choices folks, Bernard should have been POTUS folks, etc., y'all are responsible for all the retaliation coming to us.

I've made my peace.
Hopefully, y'all make yours soon.

Saw this ad for Bloomberg news saying people scored 5.5% annual returns betting against Christ returning to earth every year, and it occurs to me that any savings account is a kind of bet against Christ’s return.

kind of what i hate about star wars now is that it's about Star Wars™️ and not Vietnam or the Bush presidency. I think that's why people liked Andor. Because it was about how Lenin Was Right

A lot of people are responding to this like "grok can't 'say' because it's not sentient" and sure but like the bigger fact here is that the company didn't even prompt it to say that, a random user did. Like a normal headline should be "xAI refuses to respond to widespread child abuse image reports"

We watched FNAF 2 tonight, and it’s pretty boring. My son gets a kick out of the elements from the games that got included, but as a film it just drags, and it does not resolve anything at the end.
My son asked if we could watch the FNAF movie tonight, so we did, and the experience for me was mostly just him rattling off all the Easter eggs he spotted from the games. He loved it. I felt like it was interesting, but oddly anti-climatic.
