When we say "no, everything hasn't been digitized," I need you to understand that we really mean is that virtually nothing has been digitized. This is because the realm of primary sources that historians use is incomprehensibly large.

Funny animal videos no longer being trustworthy just fucking sucks all around. I love the wonder of animal behavior and what it says about the experience of being alive. It's because it happened in reality that it's so fun. It's not fun if it was just made up. There's no wonder there.

look there’s at least 4 “better” games on this grid but in 2019 playing Kingdom Hearts 3 was a religious experience
Quote this with what you would have said your game of the year was at the end of 2019, and what you would say your favourite game of 2019 is now, if it differs

The most precious commodity you have is your attention. You don’t have to waste it on poor-faith debates or arguments with strangers if you don’t think they’ll be productive. You can prioritize the things that matter to you and make your life richer.

The ocean doesn't just influence climate—it IS climate. Yet it's often left out of the conversation.

Today at COP30, that's changing. Monterey Bay Aquarium joined the Belem Ocean Declaration commitment: "Let 2025 be remembered as the year the world united land and sea to protect all life on Earth."

They also must make eye contact with and wave to or greet the customer.

If they’re within four feet, the employee should ask how the customer’s day is going or if they need help."
