Following on what @miawong.bsky.social and @riotlinguist.bsky.social and others have said, it's worth repeating that the majority of rape is committed against kids and teenagers (<20yo) obviously mainly girls + mostly by adult/teen cis men. Rape culture is inherently CSA culture!

Like, it was official bbc policy that trans people could not talk about our issues on the bbc without a GC also being on as a counterpoint. No such policy wrt GC's needing a counter balance.

I accompanied my son to his top surgery appointment. As he came round after the anaesthetic, I noticed that despite post-operative discomfort, his shoulders were un-hunched for the first time in years. Literally, a weight lifted from him. 18 months on, he's so much happier.
