After the success of the event in 2025, For the Love of Print returns for 2026 with not one but two fairs. The first will be on 2nd May and will bring together 26 Kent Printmakers. It will be a vibrant celebration of Printmaking with many new Printmakers from the 2025 event. Put it in your diaries!

Auschwitz was at the end of a process. We must remember that it did not start from gas chambers.

This hatred gradually developed: from ideas, words, stereotypes & prejudice through legal exclusion, dehumanization & escalating violence... to systematic and industrial murder.

Auschwitz took time.

While independent bookstores are giving out free whistles, hosting protest sign making events, and donating proceeds to mutual aid, Amazon is *checks notes* providing technology that assists ICE in their terrorizing of communities.

Independent bookstores deserve your support. Amazon does not.

Let’s shift the narrative: focus on drivers — with better legislation, clearer guidance and stronger communication — so harm isn’t normalised or dismissed as “cycling is risky”. It’s long past time to prevent harm, not explain it away. Less victim-blaming.

"Council should not be raising revnue" from school streets. May I remind the editor of our local newspaper that the only reason they are is because drivers choose to ignore the restrictions that were put in place to PROTETCT CHILDREN from getting hurt or killed outside their schools.

At what point did being completely wrong start counting as an “opinion”? Claiming vaccines cause autism isn’t an opinion. It’s utter bullshit. And then they say, “Well, that’s my opinion, you have to respect it.” No. I don’t have to respect stupidity. Fuck off.

Look, you can have low taxation or you can have functioning public services. You can't have both. Lots of people, including the UK government, seem to have forgotten this fact. Taxation isn't theft. It's the foundation of society.

"Gunn had driven the BMW he had recently bought at 87mph shortly before the crash, on the 60mph limit Thurnham Lane"

What "60mph limit Thurnham Lane actually looks like.
Time for a 30mph national speed limit on any road with no central lane markings.

Anyone who is more concerned about bikes on pavements than cars on the road is deeply unserious about pedestrian safety.

It would be great if we could take a whole country and change the default speed limit to 20mph and then compare it to one left at 30mph. What if it reduced casualties by 25% and with lower risk reduced insurance premiums by £45 a year? Well it did! bit.ly/4gIBPlJ

Just fuck off with this. How about start the conversation by highlighting how much immigrants contribute to the UK - not least by propping up the NHS and social care system!

Also - forced volunteering is not volunteering, it's unpaid labour.

the post office is a public service. it doesn’t need to make money. public transit doesn’t need to make money. the library doesn’t need to make money. some things exist for the public good and we desperately need lawmakers to stop thinking about them in terms of capitalism. these are not businesses.

A man using a mobility scooter had to be rescued by the fire service as he became stuck between a wall and a parked car.

How much longer must he and other pedestrians have to wait for a pavement parking ban and adequate enforcement?

Hitting them with your car at 40mph does the same damage.
