I'm interested to see if all the massive plastic 'poppies' are voluntarily taken down from all lamp posts this weekend,now that poppymass is over. It can't be very respectful to leave them to get shredded in the wind and litter the country they claim to love.

Old version:clear easily readable text,clear classic weather symbols, temp. colours, wind direction speed and gusts all on page, 4 hrs/days on page. New:awful grey background, tiny text, fuzzy indistinct symbols , no temperature colours, no wind direction or speeds. Only 3 hours/days on screen.

The massed cycling dock workers leaving Portsmouth naval base at the end of the day were legendary. Everyone drives there now, even those who live no more than a couple of miles away within the city 😕

No, this is a good thing. If when the TV is idle it starts showing shitty ads instead of relaxing Google screensaver images people will be much more inclined to switch the TV off when not using it. Reduces electricity demand and saves the owner money.

I hate resin bonded/bounded drives, or in this case complete front gardens. The "resin" is polyurethane, "plastic". So during its life it will be shedding microplastic particles (accelerated by being driven on and the abrasion from the aggregate) And how the hell do you dispose of it at end of life?
