We've gone from David Crane figuring out a way to fit 255 screens worth of Pitfall into 50 bytes (not KB) to companies not being bothered to test their game on a hard disk drive to see if it really needs to be 154GB to reduce load times

if the barrier to entry to being an artist or writer is so low then just make art and write novels without AI. but you can’t do that can you.
There are basically only two positions in the debate about AI.
1. I’ve barely invested any time in learning how to use it effectively. AI sucks.
2. I’ve invested in learning how to use this tool. Holy cow, it’s transformational.
Position #1 has lower barriers to entry.
