There is an anecdote in the Art of War about a emperor asking a general how large an the emperor could manage. The general said 'you? 100,000. Me, as many men as you have. The point was it takes actual talent to properly scale up a organization, and these people don't have it

They should have made it so that going to a time limit draw with the current continental champ got you an automatic entry to the next C2. Would help build the event through the year if you had a few people take the champ to the limit then gun for them in the tournament

I use to be confused about why so many people had fond memories of the My Dinner with Andre game. It made sense when I found out about the arcade version, I had only played the My Dinner with Andre platformer they made for the SNES

Except if you live somewhere without probation, in which case there is a good chance that the person vaping also couldn't be higher

Industry is nearing 50 years old, and for at least half of that has managed to produce more hours of content worth experiencing each year than the average person has time to play through. I've never played Witcher 3, and plenty of other games of that caliber

All I can picture when I look at these is not being able to use the wrench because almost every situation that calls wrench instead of a ratchet will also involve a space so small that the wrench won't fit into because of the hammer tip

Being from Canada it's always interesting seeing people react to things that are pretty normal for us, like snow storms or human instrumentality. In both events just put on a toque and you'll be ok

The reason they think AI is great is because they are barely sentient. Information goes in, patterns are observed, no actual understanding is accomplished, and with ever increasing frequency wild hallucinations occur

It's to make their constituents believe that their suffering is caused by the system being overloaded by all of the 'undesirables' in other states.

It's the exact same thing that Jaws did to sharks. In reality clowns only attack human children in rare circumstances and will mostly flee in terror if you boop them on the nose

'The hands of a king are the hands of a...' and I forget how the rest of that goes but it's probably about how you need to be big, strong, and willing to hurt people

Hail is a good reminder of just how much water is up there in the sky sometimes, just floating a few kilometers above your head until suddenly it isn't

Lol. I was introduced to Star Trek by my mom who watched it during it's original run in the 60s. Women writing stories about Kurt, Spoke, and Bones either wanting to kiss them and/or each other pretty much was the birth of modern fanfiction.
