I think I'm beginning to experience rapid onset nausea whenever I encounter the term "thought leader" now, because these are the sorts of people whose "expertise" is being tapped to underpin the whole "democrats need to throw wokeism and gender under the bus" narrative.

In 2016 I emailed an editor at @thecut.com with definitive proof that Jesse Singal knowingly lied dozens of times in an article defending a gay conversion therapist and alleged sexual predator.
I know other people, all of whom with more pull than me, did the same.
Nothing was ever done about it.

It took me a pretty long time to figure out Weverse/V-Live (they were mid-shutdown of VL at the time). If you’ve never been a part of a fandom before why would you ever think to look for something like it? It’s not common in Western music spaces. Not that I’m aware of.
