Meet my newest foster guests, Milo and Pumpkin! When their human passed away, they found themselves with an appointment to be euthanized because they had nowhere to go. Fortunately, their veterinarian called our rescue. I look forward to sharing more as I get to know them! #cats

A few cloudy northern lights shots from the evening in town. Oh for it to be clear and me at the cabin with a huge solar storm. One day those three things will coincide and I will check off a bucket list item. ✅

Hello, nice to meet you. No, I would not like to create an account to read this random article from your site that someone shared on BlueSky. Yes, I like that person. Yes, I see that it is free. Still no, thank you so much. Okay, bye.

Hey @mark-carney.bsky.social please don’t sign us up for this. Let’s invest in our own cloud infrastructure - better yet, make it a crown corporation so our data falls under our legal jurisdiction. Expand Canada Post’s mandate and it’s a win-win-win!
Amazon controls over a third of the global cloud computing market.

Its customers include Capital One, United Airlines, and the US Army.

Today's outage should be a wakeup call: Dependence on a handful of powerful corporations is a threat to economic and national security.
BREAKING: Amazon Web Services

When Ontario cut the spirits tax in half, my first thought was that they would pull it from healthcare and education. It’s always healthcare and education.

The thing is, bright minds are anywhere. Canada has been at the forefront because of opportunities for education and training that other places don’t have. Now, education is woefully underfunded. If we want to continue to be leaders in innovation and win prizes, we need to fund education.

Animal surrenders are way up, adoptions are way down, because people are losing their homes or can’t afford food and care. Shelters and rescues are in crisis. Just one more problem that could be more surmountable with a universal basic income. #ubi

University professors are being fired for sharing screenshots of direct quotes from Charlie Kirk, but it’s totally fine that Brian Kilmeade wants to execute people for being unhoused.

There words for people who are okay with murder as long as they get to choose the victims.
Brian Kilmeade endorses euthanizing homeless people: "Involuntary lethal injection, or something. Just kill them."
