The thing is, bright minds are anywhere. Canada has been at the forefront because of opportunities for education and training that other places don’t have. Now, education is woefully underfunded. If we want to continue to be leaders in innovation and win prizes, we need to fund education.

I think this was the most messed up part:
Our studies found that the greater interest in AI wasn’t because people with less knowledge thought AI was more capable or more ethical. Quite the opposite: People with lower AI literacy saw AI as less capable and more ethically concerning. Yet, they were more likely to have used it themselves and to want it used by others.

Meet my newest foster guests, Milo and Pumpkin! When their human passed away, they found themselves with an appointment to be euthanized because they had nowhere to go. Fortunately, their veterinarian called our rescue. I look forward to sharing more as I get to know them! #cats
