Leftist. Patriot. Moral human being. I am exactly as terrible as the worst I see from the Right. If you're horrified, save it for those who earnestly mean it.

Your brain is stuck in this hyper vigilance mode of trying to squash the lunacy because you never know what delusional claim will suddenly break out and go mainstream. And since no one will address the crazies it just goes on FOREVER

Like I’ve watched groups tweet lies about me almost every day for months or years, behavior that should have gotten them institutionalized, but then one day they find something that for some reason spreads like wildfire, and suddenly normal people seem distinctly more uncomfortable talking to me.

It sucks! It monumentally sucks! It’s exhausting and upsetting because no matter how many times their embarrass or debase themselves, how bad they look, how obsessed they are, they just KEEP AT IT, and will eventually convince some non-negligible group of people of their lies and smears.

Like once you’ve got that, no matter what you do, no matter if you ignore them or not, no matter whether you’re even present or on vacation or busy at work, there are dozens/hundreds/thousands of people who just seem almost obsessively focused on finding a chunk in your armor to attack you through.

People don’t really understand the nature of the problem. It’s not lots of little random ankle-biter tweets. That’s annoying but whatever. It’s when hating you becomes this communal pursuit that exists separately from yourself. Like there’s an entire group of people working together to target you.
ignore it. why do you big accounts always complain? it’s like a celebrity complaining they get too much attention in the street. it comes with the territory. just ignore or mute those accounts. it seems you might have a kind of para social relationship back.

reminder that as insurrectionists and domestic enemies of the United States, all Republicans everywhere are constitutionally banned from holding or seeking public office, so every position they hold they hold illegitimately, and every vote they receive should be deemed invalid
Trump: “The Democrats refuse to vote for Voter I.D., or Citizenship. The reason is very simple — They want to continue to cheat in Elections. This was not what our Founders desired … There will be Voter I.D. for the Midterm Elections, whether approved by Congress or not!“

What the young person in the brown sweatshirt recognizes is that some views are, in and of themselves, violent. Such as the support of a secret police that kidnaps, murders, and tortures.
there’s a longer version here in which our hero follows up by telling him “you can go peacefully fuck yourself” after he claims to be “peacefully standing for my beliefs”

The US government won't stop sharing Nazi propaganda.

This past year, official social media accounts from the Department of Homeland Security, the White House, and other government agencies have adopted a distinct voice online. But if you look closer, a pattern emerges.

What did we do to those guys after the war again?
This is something the Nazis used to do to Jewish children in the camps. It happened to a man I knew when he was a child in Auschwitz. The camp guards thought it was funny as hell.
On Thanksgiving, the immigrant children held at the Dilley detention center gathered in the gym for what they thought was a holiday feast.

The kids salivated over a spread of turkey, sandwiches, pastries and pies, a family told me.

But the food wasn’t for detainees — it was for the staff.

When an organization or party wages war on a civilian population the civilian population is going to wage back. Those are the wages of war.
KMBC: "A woman tried to set a fire at a South Kansas City warehouse that had been rumored as a possible ICE detention center. Earlier today, the company that owns the property confirmed it is no longer moving forward with a sale to the U.S. government."

Anyone currently involved in federal immigration enforcement, every officer, every bureaucrat, every lawyer, every judge, is a member of the most evil group of people this country has seen since Reconstruction. Darkness personified, every one. Doing this to children is beyond depraved.

this is comically evil. brazenly anti-social. just absolute black-pilled nihilism. we will not have a republic, we will not be free, until we regulate these companies to the point where — at a bare minimum — they're too afraid to put stuff like this down on paper.

Trump’s 1st year in office had the worst job growth this decade, excluding COVID.

In that same year, the 1% got a TRILLION dollars in tax cuts, the Trump family got $1.4 BILLION richer, & Americans paid $192 BILLION in tariff-related costs.

Working people are getting fleeced.
U.S. added 130,000 jobs in January, but labor market growth stalled in 2025
The Bureau of Labor Statistics found that U.S. employers added 181,000 jobs last year, far fewer than the 1.46 million jobs that were added in 2024.

DHS is shutting down because it refuses to obey the law. They are tear-gassing schools, killing American citizens, and disappearing legal immigrants. Democrats shouldn’t fund an out of control ICE.

I really don't think a lot of elected Dems understand how radicalized a lot of people like me are right now. Like the only debates about ICE and DHS I want to hear from my candidates is about who has the better plan to dismantle both and who will prosecute the ICE goons better.

i believe in confiscatory policy targeting assets of every single person with the trump surname not because i think we can use it to pay for healthcare or pay down the debt or whatever, but because they stole it and it doesn’t belong to them
i can remember how in the 80s and the 90s, imelda marcos’ shoe collection was a shorthand for comically naked thievery and corruption and now we have a first family who literally shat in golden toilets
one of the things that’s harder to see while we are in it, but will jump off the page at future historians, is how deeply corrupt *the entire trump family* is, and how they abused and and manipulated every lever of the federal government they could grab to steal everything that isn’t nailed down

Today, we take the opportunity to look forward by introducing my Trans Bill of Rights, a comprehensive vision to provide protections for all trans and nonbinary people.

no the goal is getting things heated and generating an argument that can be harvested for screenshots to drive the next round of discourse, a token apology can be a way to disengage and refocus
