Newsom probably isn’t going to be the Dem nominee and even if he was he would do more to accomplish a better world than literally any republican. This stupid BlueSky argument isn’t about Newsom, it’s about measurable progress versus a very specific utopia.
Seriously, the “how dare you take my vote for granted” crowd premises their whole concept of electoral leverage on taking everyone else’s votes for granted.

Made steak at home for Stephanie and I. Started with a shrimp cocktail. Our anniversary and my birthday are all within a week of Valentine’s Day so we’re happy to just stay home.

We have a couple of college interns who are 1. Awesome and 2. Young enough to still be embarrassed that they love my horrible dad jokes and enthusiastic use of youth slang.

According to multiple NYT sources, it wasn’t even military personnel at Fort Bliss that fired an anti-drone laser at alleged cartel drones. It was CBP who used the weapon on loan from DoD against a child’s party balloon they mistook for a drone. The Pentagon gave CBP an anti-aircraft weapon.
