Good g-d this is the stupidest BlueSky argument. No you really shouldn’t use campaign donor money for stuff that isn’t the campaign. And yeah there probably are campaign finance implications even if it’s not actually enforced anymore which is its own issue.

Kind of wild how the take that some of Trump's supporters were "deplorable" was some huge scandal, but regularly screaming about "radical left scum" is just a thing he'll say with no media backlash.

Thread. I used to support the ADL and I’m appalled at what they’ve become.
So many of my older Jewish friends and relatives, including much of my own family, supported the Anti-Defamation League, literally for generations, for reasons including:

Restaurant doesn’t appear to take reservations. Has a yelp waitlist. Added ourselves to the waitlist. Arrive at restaurant. Surprise! They do take reservations and they said “we turned off the yelp waitlist tonight” which they… did not. So we did pickup from our regular spot for this year instead.
