Anyone with 2 brain cells knows:

1. Fetterman was the "progressive" choice because of his faux working class facade. Leftists smeared Lamb and got what they wanted. Vote Blue No Matter Who has no effect on a primary. Everyone is blue!

2. As much as he sucks, Fetterman is still better than Dr. Oz.
This shit right here is why I'll always push back when people try to claim Billy is smart.

Anyone with 2 brain cells to rub together knows that "Vote Blue No Matter Who" was a poorly thought out campaign that resulted in bad actors like Fetterman being elected overtop actual progressives.
When you say "vote blue no matter who" these guys always say "oh ho ho, but what if it was Lina Khan, would you vote blue THEN?"

And the answer is "yes"? Very obviously? Was "vote blue no matter who" unclear?

Hasan Abi doesn't even sincerely believe in any of the politics he spouts. I don't know why people can't see that. He's just like his lovely unkie Cenk- just a vacuous well of egocentric conspiracy theories he passes off as a politic.
Hasan isn’t going to vote for any Democrat in 2028. It has nothing to do with Newsom.

Especially from people with a track record of being (in the kindest construction) indifferent between liberalism and fascism at the ballot box, “you have to earn my vote” means “my vote cannot be earned”

This app exists to enable leftists to gaslight themselves into believing outright lies about the Democratic Party.

They then block anyone who pushes back on those lies, creating a hermetically sealed misinformation bubble.
"Ah, well, maybe I lied about Dem states passing legislation, and can only cite a Republican-controlled state, but nevertheless..."

They have the equation exactly backwards.
In a democracy it is the voter who has the responsibility to determine the overall balance of power.
That's the whole point.
The individual politician isn't a waiter bringing you an ice cream sundae for your birthday + it must be JUST SO or you send it back.

The 2028 Election

Candidate 1: I will continue all of Trump's Nazi policies.

Candidate 2: I will specifically not do that and work to fix the damage.

Leftists: Hmmm, neither one are giving out handjobs. I'll stay home.

After careful reflection I have decided that actually, yes, Americans should expect candidates to work their nips if they want their votes.

I understand politics now. Thank you, Bluesky.
Fuck.

And this part is very important…

When there's only 2 choices, if you continue to pretend that you're a very special person that needs to be personally courted - rather than someone with agency making an adult decision to participate in society - you suck. Voting is something you should do no matter what.

I don't think the person who went to bat for trans rights, spoke at the UN on Climate change, and expanded abortion rights in the state is some kind of conservative.

I get that people don't know anything about anything but it's okay not to talk.

Honestly? Texas.

They may not always have the right vocabulary but it seems like most of them are happy to live and let live as long as you don't trespass on their land.

Gavin Newsom, on the other hand, is a fucking snake.

Narrator: Amy Klobuchar has consistently tweeted about ICE and we just had a whole election where voters shot the country in the dick over prices.
hello and welcome to the political genius exam. here is question one. which is a more compelling message:

- the president is sending armies to occupy cities and kidnap and kill people and your town could be next
- a meal at the cheesecake factory that previously cost $100 now costs $104.9
Romance alert: Trump's reckless tariffs have Valentine’s Day costs up across the board:

Roses 🌹16.6%
Chocolates🍫 18.7%
Ribeye 🥩 25.4%
Restaurant meals 🍽️ 4.9%

I'm all for pardons and second chances. But it's a hell of a juxtaposition to pardon millionaire NFL players convicted of drug distribution while you're summarily executing impoverished fishermen making a few hundred bucks to shuttle drugs around the Caribbean.
