I'm not saying that the Republican Party has entered a dark pact with Moloch, laying the lives and souls of untold millions on the altar of sacrifice and offering up their lifeblood in return for electoral victory, but I am saying that if they DID do that, their policy approach would be identical.

The story behind RFK Jr. in Samoa's measles crisis has never been reported. He wasn't there to spread misinformation about vaccines (though he did). He wanted to study a "natural experiment" of unvaccinated kids.

“I can’t imagine anything less ethical or more cruel.”

Experts saw Samoa's plunging vaccination rates as a crisis. RFK Jr. saw an opportunity.
New details show how Robert F. Kennedy Jr., then chair of an anti-vaccine group and now Trump’s pick for health secretary, sought to exploit a deadly vaccine accident.

Ppl don’t care if P45 is dumb, cognitively impaired, venal, all they want him for is the permission. Permission to be openly racist, openly N4z1s, openly misogynist, openly bigoted in every way. There are three ideologies that support P45: Don’t tax me, don’t regulate me, don’t judge me for bigotry.

Hint to Dems: "they are going to kill you" counts as a kitchen table issue to voters
if any Democrats besides AOC want to weigh in about the misrule that's already been prevalent over this first week that'd be pretty cool

I’ll never get over that all of this was avoidable and our kids could’ve had a better future had voters just made the obviously rational choice in November. It’s water under the bridge now. But what the fuck, people.

Yeah these pardons are legal and constitutional...and also an abuse of power, and cause for legitimate impeachment and removal.
This is NOT a reason for exercising the pardon power & it's not a legitimate use of presidential authority even if Trump is legally entitled to do it. Rewarding people for their political support of your candidacy by pardoning their kids is a sign of political corruption.

FWIW it’s an understandable reaction to think “but he’d be insane to do that on camera, there MUST be some other explanation” if you’re not attentive to how thoroughly pickled in adolescent online edgelord culture Musk’s brain is, & how ubiquitous “ironic” fascist symbolism is in those circles.
