NEW: @propublica.org investigated the Chicago apartment raid where kids were zip-tied and citizens detained for hours. They find:
- NONE of the arrested were criminally charged
- NO evidence the building was "filled with TdA terrorists."
- ZERO legitimate reason for DHS to rappel from a Blackhawk.

Imagine if Dems in the Senate hadn't caved. The House wouldn't be in session rn, the discharge petition wouldn't be signed, people wouldn't have SNAP, govt workers would be RIF'd & the GOP would have some decent talking points. But also online rage addicts would be happier! YMMV!

I had forgotten about that. At the start, people were all upset at Dems focusing on healthcare subsidies, and now they're all upset at Dems going for food and paychecks. How about being mad at the GOP, or maybe even people who didn't vote for ACA subsidies back in Nov 2024?
But also this is a prime example of not really giving a shit about the actual human beings whose livelihoods are at stake here. You can’t be sneering at “Obamacare tax credits” being a poor ask one minute and then accusing Dems of selling millions down the river for not getting them the next.
