I thought I was done with my tears today and then realized I never checked my email and saw this 👇 from the social worker at the nursing facility my brother was in for almost 8 years. He was a godsend to my brother and I all those years. I miss the angels that work there that helped us so much. 😢

When you forget there is still feet of snow on the ground and go visit your brother’s grave on his birthday you can’t get too close. Yes, I was tempted to trudge through it, but it looked too perfect to disturb. ❄️ 🕊️

The main thing the fringe left wants isn’t progressive policy, it’s a blank slate they can project their fantasies onto. Someone with an actual record has flaws. A vague notion of a politician wrapped in a hoodie doesn’t. Until he’s elected and it turns out he does.

A year ago today at my brother’s little birthday celebration he told the social worker and I he planned to live to 100. 👇 He lived for 3 1/2 months after his birthday. He was my main focus for 10 years and it was an honor to care for him. I miss him every day. 😢

On my way out there was a ‘will you sign…’ person with their misleading canned speech. I stopped them and asked bottom line what it’s about and he said ‘to get a republican governor on the ballot’. I gave my usual very loud ‘ABSOLUTELY NOT!’. Some day they will recognize me and stop asking.🤷🏻♀️
Because I’m an immature 62yo this 👇 stopped me dead in my tracks on my way into the grocery store and I felt the need to take a pic.🤷🏻♀️ 🥴
