Last year Sky News was rending its garments over Starmer's free eyeglasses: WHAT INFLUENCE DID LORD ALLI BUY?

Now, RefUK get £9m from a crypto bro, they have not one word about the donor's interests; just BRAVO NIGEL, barely concealed glee, and "what a huge boost... money goes where momentum is". 🤡

It's like the incredibly tedious "Rachel from accounts" thing. Misogyny in politics remains a powerful force.
When I was at an Oxford college whose library for some reason has a copy of Reeves’ BA thesis, I was separately approached by two different people asking for help to get hold of it. The obsession with taking down her intellectual credentials is revealing - and absolutely mental.
This is the point where the anti-Reeves stories tip into madness. Criticise her performance all you like but what the hell is this?

The "Rachel from accounts" thing is sexist, classist, misogyny, and anyone who uses it should be utterly ashamed of themselves.

Too many dinosaurs in this country who cannot abide women who succeed.

“Labour seems determined to upset and alienate its own voters to appease Reform’s base – who overwhelmingly didn’t vote Labour in 2024, when it won a landslide. Last week’s immigration figures show it will never pay off. Even if the figures say what those voters want them to, they won’t believe it.”

Maybe short notice, but I'm also able to provide context around the upcoming "Messi vs Müller" MLS Cup final for UK/European outlets, as well as being open to World Cup work. I've covered US and Canadian soccer for years which I think would be useful for global outlets looking to cover the World Cup
I've been on the ground in the US to cover Copa America, Club World Cup, MLS, and the best competition of them all, the US Open Cup. In the Open Cup, I've reported from various locations, including Hartford, Yonkers, Cincinnati (so far Messi's only appearance in the tournament), and Philadelphia.

“Put bluntly, net migration fell because 400,000 fewer foreigners arrived, and 200,000 more foreigners left the UK. This is precisely what Reform, the Mail, and the new, nastier Tory Party have claimed – again and again – they wanted to happen. And now that it has, they have ignored it entirely.”

Why, when sales of old fashioned print media like the Telegraph, the Times & the Mail are tumbling even faster than Tory poll ratings, does the BBC still use their headlines as their starting point on every news program?

The absolute state of the BBC news just now - which seems determined to drag the government down over the budget.

Where was all this attention to minute detail and concern for absolute accuracy when the Tories were lying their way through their chaotic reign for 14 years? It's frankly absurd.

What this Reeves lying nonsense very obviously boils down to is immense disappointment on the right that the budget did not tank the markets. They wanted a Truss moment causing huge problems for millions of people but didn’t get one. They are patriots, apparently.
