These things are connected. The reason away support seems better (for many clubs, not just Man City) is because home stadium ticketing focuses on hospitality, corporate, and creating an event to be marketed rather than a team to supported.

Post a banger that isn't in English...

This will probably be a thread, but it has to start with Ian Brown singing in Spanish with a Manchester accent.

Sadly, what is happening with Harvey Elliott's transfer is always a potential situation when an obligation to buy in a loan deal is triggered by a no. of games played. Players' reps shouldn't agree to this kind of clause and PFA should look to outlaw it.

One of the good things about the Washington Post sports section was that it covered the local professional soccer teams, DC United and Washington Spirit, week to week. The sport, those teams and leagues, will miss that coverage.

If people don't support it, it goes away. "Getting the paper" used to be so automatic. Journalism entities were like utilities as you just got the paper. On the way to work or school, you got the paper. The farther away those days move, the more in danger journalism entities become.

Check this with the manager of the USMNT telling players to shut up and dribble
Pep Guardiola also spoke about people killed by ICE in the US. "Look what happened in the United States of America. With Renee Good and Alex Pretti. They have been killed, one a nurse, with five or six people around him, go on the grass, 10 shots. Tell me how you can defend that?"
Guardiola has spoken up again, mentioning Palestine, Ukraine, and ICE shootings. He also raises the topic of Sudan which has links to his employers. He'll get accused of hypocrisy, but it's important he raises it at all and better that he does. I wrote about this here in a recent Morning Star column
