I’ll do one better (even though I think this is true): the Democratic Party is so coalitional that it doesn’t have a base so much as it has factions actively trying to flex power.
I feel like a huge problem on this app is an inability to engage with who the base of the Democratic party actually is & how they came about being it.

Which is to say there’s 0 reason to think the end result of “D’s fillabuster DHS approps” ends in ICE/DHS going away.
