Zac Segal, Boston U runner and Young Republican alerted ICE to a car wash in Allston MA which had immigrants working - he said they were taking US jobs. ICE raided the car wash. All detained had legal status according to their lawyer.

I think it’s great that our media elites have decided that men in their 30s saluting Hitler are just rambunctious kids who got carried away, while 16-year old girls being trafficked and raped by billionaires are “underage women” making informed choices. Definitely reflects well on us as a society.

I call this "blogbrain" btw, a thing I noticed when I realized that Matt Yglesias and Freddie deBoer couldn't write good books (One Billion Americans, Cult of Smart) because their writing style was entirely dependent on quoting opponents to rebut them.
legitimately i think one of the core failings of centrist pundits is that they have come to define themselves by what they are against--to chart their intellectual course by who they think is being annoying this week--instead of by recourse to genuine principle
