The cowards still won’t allow “Abolish ICE”.
A nearby private prison was closed down 10 years ago. It has been suggested that it be re-opened as an ICE detention center by local leaders. It is not in my county, but I sit on boards with many county commissioners who think it is a good idea. I always remind them of this story.
Highlighting the speaker who stood in front of the Surprise mayor and told him to consider what the Mayor of Ohrdruf must’ve thought before he died by suicide: “He might have thought ‘how is this my fault I had no jurisdiction over this’ maybe he said ‘this site was not subject to local zoning.’”
