I might have found my Wild Zero disc and jury-rigged an old DVD-drive to work with my computer.
More flotsam washed across my Skyline about this and it is very dumb.

Block, mute, use the filters, be selective about who you follow.

Skyline-hygiene is your personal responsibility.
Occasionally some mAjOr BlUeSkY dRaMa finds its way onto my Skyline and I am blissfully unaware of any of the people involved.

I think that it is time that I got a cheese cutter and began to explore more cheeses.

I am officially reordering my list of "People From Other Places That Act Like Assholes in Central New York":
1. Vermont
2. Quebecoise
3. Belgians

I wonder if this has to do with New York cracking down on tax cheats using automated tools and increasing the penalties, earlier last year. 🤔
I do wonder if we have significantly more seniors this year because fewer people are going to Florida over the Winter. 🤔

Please talk to your grandparents about giving up their cars or at least moving to Florida.
It is dumping snow once again, which is the perfect time to go to the grocery store and try to dodge blue-hairs who've given up any sense of self-preservation.

Watching paranormal shows and my favorite cryptids are the ones that are incredibly silly or do incredibly silly things.

Seven months of runarounds with the insurance company for a procedure they signed off before realizing, "actually we don't cover that, you needed a different (but similar) procedure. And well, it says right here that you'd cover the cost if we decided not to pay, so... 🤷"

It's me. I am hos.

I've talked about it before, but it's been a bit. One of the most important persons in my life was my aunt, Nancy (we weren't related by blood). She was a stripper and an escort. As a teenager, she taught me how to treat women "in the trade."

This is for a specific-audience of mine.
For those (not my usual followers, but some) on the fence of moving on from Twitter...
After sharing a list of tips for companions on how to move their audience from X to Bsky, a number of lovely clients asked me to do the same from their side. So clients and admirers, this one’s for you:

After reading "Bushido," "The Five Rings," and "The Unfettered Mind;" (to get "military-smart") I watched Wild Zero. I was around 21 or 22. It's low-budget, Japanese-insanity.

But also, man... guy... pal... did it land like an epiphany.
I might have found my Wild Zero disc and jury-rigged an old DVD-drive to work with my computer.

Me with enormous Housecarl- and Shock-retinues as the Emperor of Irelandia in Crusader Kings 2:
I’m starting to see special operations forces the way the Founders saw standing armies: having them & investing so much in them makes it entirely too tempting for a tyrant to use them

It is quite funny to me that the Jets Special Teams is really good and the Bills ST is poop from a butt.

I don't know what it says or if it says anything at all, but I went to three different stores for a DIY project (closet storage) today and the demographics of the people in their 20s was at first curious, then perplexing, and then finally, strange.

There are days when I wish I could mute posters from an entire country. Just a little 3-5 day timeout until they get it out of their system.

Mini Peck drank all of the milk last night and didn't tell me. So... I'm drinking black coffee (stare at the wall!) while scrolling and blocking all of the dogshit takes from people who should know better than to post them.

I should make some chicken nuggies.
You: Trying to parse the post-regime-change-plan (there is none) for Venezuela.

Me: This feels like 2002. I should go buy some porn, in case things get even dumber 'round here.

I still can't believe we deposed a head-of-state and then told the world, "No, it's totally cool. We'll just put together a committee and Skype-in to administer the country. It'll be fine. Mission Accomplished. We're going to do that to Cuba next. This nation-building shit is easy."
January 4, 2026 at 3:07 AM
We should go after Belgium next. Not for any strategic reason; Once, one of them shit-talked me in French, which I understood... so they switched to shit-talking in Flemish. I won't let this slight, from 20 years ago, stand.

Thinking about that time I was playing CK3, married off one of my failsons and didn't think about him again until 60 years later when he somehow became the HRE and invaded an independent county in Finland because the Count was his "rival."
