Baseball Prospectus draft team. Former nerd for Villanova baseball.

Here’s wishing you the bluest skies and hope that something better comes tomorrow.
Broad trade thoughts:

- It’s fine
- Both contracts bad
- Nimmo contract has more pathways to being reallllyyyy bad even if presently better bat
- Righty bat good
- Semien should trade contact for pulled fly balls
- Semien’s floor dependent on defensive regression
- AJ Ewing stock up probably

I spoke to the leader of the 764-linked swatting group that is behind the recent spare of hoax active shooter calls at university campuses across the US.

He claims to have earned $100,000 in the space of just six days

The year is 2089. An ant the size of a curio cabinet who is hooked up to what scientists are calling "the world's most racist computer" is president. Water is unavailable but humans have adapted by purifying motor oil. Joe Flacco has been announced starting quarterback of the Cincinnati Bengals.
The Browns are naming QB Joe Flacco as their starter, the end of a training camp competition that never really was.

Flacco quickly emerged as QB1, while the others battled injuries. The player who led them to the playoffs in 2023 is back.

I went to high school three blocks or so from here, walking past heavily armed guards at the government printing office most days, especially when there was some sort of national security threat.

This is just ridiculous

Unsurprisingly, batter's swings get more accurate the more they see a pitcher. These are observed rather than modeled values, hence the occasional weird values the third time through likely due to sample sizes.
