I regularly see people wondering how it's possible that there are so many musicians and writers and film makers and artists from a tiny nation like Iceland.

I’m constantly astounded at the sheer level of artistic production coming out of Iceland. Novels, movies, music. Amazing.

FFS... This is the conversation for after the primary for the 2028 election. Y'all need to stop with this stupid BS right now. NOW is the time to get the best politicians running. Pre-deciding people should vote for Gavin Fucking Newsom is beyond stupid.
I find it really incredible that the concept of “vote blue no matter who” is so hard for some to grasp. It doesn’t mean “all Democrats are good.” It means “vote for the Democrat against the Republican.”

Someone has sure already made this observation but the fact they can convert all those empty warehouses into prison camps means they could have converted them into housing, community centers, job training centers or, hell, libraries or schools all along. It’s always a matter of will not resources.
