The woke scolds are trying to make this about racism. But Musk is right. It's about historical and scientific integrity. When the God of Thunder disguises himself as a swan to seduce and fuck a queen and the resulting baby hatches from an egg, *of course* the baby will be white. It's just science.

Anyone who paid attention knew that there was no doubt about the official number from the GHM being an undercount due to its historically conservative approach and due to inability to keep pace with the actual death rate. IDF now admits, like it did in 2021 and 2014, that it has an accurate record.

I think that Toronto streetcars should be permitted to ram parked cars that are blocking the tracks. In fact, I they should have devices affixed to the front to better facilitate this.

Things I can say about the rigour of payment processor supportability decisions without violating a non-disparagement clause:

…well it is certainly the case that there are employees at these firms who care about the standards being applied fairly and consistently!

Q: How do I unlock Sunglasses Macron?
A: It's very difficult to unlock Sunglasses Macron in the course of a normal game because it requires a specific and unlikely sequence of events. While default Macron is ruler of France, the USA must choose the monarchy path and then lay claim to Greenland.

You cannot overstate how startling it is to see a politician just say the thing with clarity and poise. No fearful hemming. No overwrought qualifying down til it’s meaningless. No lingering sense that there is a loyalty to a donor class or an ideology of stasis that they’d never admit to.
Mamdani: "I am in support of abolishing ICE. What we see is an entity that has no interest in fulfilling its stated reason to exist. We're seeing a government agency that is supposed to be enforcing some kind of immigration law, but instead what it's doing is terrorizing people."

The number of people responding to this with "TRUMP IS NOT AN ANARCHIST" bodes poorly for general literacy on this site. It's a foreign policy magazine! They make it very clear they're talking about the concept of anarchy in the sphere of realist international relations! They never say anarchist!

Your regular reminder that the United States of America is not actually a fully democracy by any serious definition of the word, because, among other things, multiple states engage in unconstitutional mass disenfranchisement of voters that render their elections illegitimate & undemocratic.
JUST IN: Virginia's legislature just adopted a constitutional amendment that would end Virginia's rules that ban people from voting for life.

Virginia currently is the only state that strips people of voting rights for life for any felony. Youngkin rolled back reforms.

Now going to a referendum.
Virginia Lawmakers Ask Voters to Repeal a Jim Crow-Era Lifetime Ban on Voting - Bolts
Voters will decide this year whether to end Virginia’s uniquely harsh felony disenfranchisement rules. They'll also vote on abortion, gay marriage, and redistricting.

This guy disabled replies and quotes so I'll handle it this way. To repeat a point I hinted at days ago, one reason Mamdani can act quickly is because New York has (a) a single-tier city-county govt and (b) a highly centralized strong Mayor system. The majority of North American cities have neither.

When Toronto adopted this slogan in the 90s it was still getting out of its shadows as a mid-sized Protestant backwater and today it's both, by any measure, among the most multicultural cities and most high-quality livable cities on Earth. So fuckin' die mad at our slogan, losers.
