In 1964, Cox called black plaintiffs in his courtroom "a bunch of chimpanzees," a public comment which generated national outrage and a congressional effort to impeach him.

The racist video posted by the President is perhaps the most egregiously racist thing shown in the White House since Woodrow Wilson screened Birth of a Nation there in 1915. Here's an article from Denver's Black newspaper in 1915 calling for Americans to denounce such racist imagery.

Are we going to treat the Obamas-as-apes clip our president posted last night (during Black History Month) as “normal?” I want horrified leaders to stop what they’re doing. I want all black White House staff to walk out en masse. I want CONSEQUENCES. If none appear, we have already lost everything.
If every Republican elected official does not condemn the truth social post of Trump they should be seen as likewise racist sacks of shit and will be shunned in history.
