oh this is absolutely what i think. i think they feed him fake polls and outright AI slop
At this point, I wonder if he isn't lying when he says he has "my highest Poll Numbers, ever" since it's entirely possible that's what his aides are telling him. It's quite likely that there's an entire Potemkin village built around Trump right now.

an absurd and destructive move from valve towards one of the most exciting studios out there
Our upcoming game HORSES was preemptively banned from Steam, with no path to appeal. The game will still launch next week on December 2nd and will be available on EGS, GOG, Humble, and Itch for $4.99. Here is a detailed FAQ covering what happened: horses.wtf/BannedFromSt...

Capitalism is so incompetent that we just went to 3 different stores to buy a game that they all had, and every one had a different reason that forced us to not buy it.

Three stores fought tooth and nail to faceplant a slamdunk sale. Unbelievable.

Got what I needed from a thrift store easy, tho

If purchasing isn't ownership, then piracy isn't theft
My boomer trait is that I think it's ridiculous that I have to create an account for a corporation to play a video game I've already bought and installed on a separate platform.

Today is Red Dead and Rockstar on steam.

Before that it was AC Valhalla and Ubisoft on PS5.

It's bullshit

it's not just "regulating AI" they're fighting. They're also trying to ban states from protecting the environment, protecting labor, or holding companies accountable for fraud.

The focus is on "AI" to sell the idea that they're protecting amazing American innovation from mean old government.

it's funny because severing the relationship between the military and the boy scouts would make me feel safer sending my kids
It’s darkly funny how a decade of attacking “safe spaces” in favor of some sort of social Darwinist fantasy where the strong devour the weak has consistently progressed to the vigorous defense of special enclaves for masculinity.

Samoa Joe’s AEW World title win at Full Gear was very well planned and has been in the works for a while. The title change wasn't done for shock value. They have a plan behind it.

Twitter pays people based on engagement (views, retweets, comments, etc). It appears that many MAGA accounts are based abroad and they use AI technology to generate low-effort rage bait.

My guess is that this will get worse as AI tech improves. For instance, fake videos of minorities doing crime.
