People who do not live in Taiwan or do not follow this stuff for a living probably don't realize how crazy aggressive PRC rhetoric on Taiwan has become, particularly during military drills. It's one of a few indicators I'm watching with concern.
When China literally calls themselves the aggressors, it’s very important you listen.

Genuinely the source of our greatest strategic strengths. Why we can forge alliances where autocrats can only manage partnerships of convenience. We believe in something bigger than us instead of just us vs them.
i read stuff like this and can genuinely angry at guys like jd vance who insist that this country belongs to some narrow vision of the "native born"
