Even if Bovino gets fired, ICE has to go.
Even if Noem is out, ICE has to go.
Even when Trump leaves office, ICE has to go.

As protests grow and ICE's popularity drops, we may see concessions and leadership changes, like Bovino's departure. ICE still has to go.

It was lovely to join the #illustratingmath community for two weeks, in Paris, no less. We added some fun to these important conversations about where and how this field fits in with and complements its adjacent fields.
Friday was the final day of our "Rigorous Illustrations" conference at the Institut Henri Poincaré. First, we heard results from the working groups, some in the form of theater performances, some with hyperbolic mind maps; all concerning how to move #illustratingMath forward. (1/4)

Snow is nature's urban planner: It can show us what parts of the roadway drivers don't use — and what can be reclaimed for pedestrians.

Post your photos and videos of all the #sneckdowns you see and tag us and @mayor.nyc.gov so today's winter wonderland can inspire better streets year-round!

Yes, the GOP controls Congress. That's why it's key to show Congress COULD stop the madness. And it's not just the DHS bill. Congress could repeal the prior multi-year $75b for DHS; set up a special investigative committee (cf. Watergate); amend the Insurrection Act; etc.

Day 1 (of 7) of the math art class I’m leading is in the books. We have 15 kids (9th and 10th graders). It’s exhausting! But I think it went well!

Kids built a George Hart Sculpture (actually we made two of them!) and we learned about V-E+F=2.
