Thanks @gelada.bsky.social for your thought-provoking talk this morning! I appreciated many parts including where you discussed two different ways in which mathematical artists might approach artwork - create rules that must be followed to make art or use math as inspiration in the artistic process.
Screen with a quote referencing Kenneth Martin - "Oh all right, then I have made a mistake" when someone else referred to an artistic liberty (an imperfection) he had made in an illustration.

"Experiential Braid Relations" is now on display in the @bridgesmathart art gallery. It's an interactive experience that guides people to understand permutations through physical boxes that transmit light. Viewers are encouraged to move the boxes around and see what changes. #bridges2025 #MathSky

I was surprised to get to 90...
Currently have 7 crossing pairs:
2 red-blue crossing pairs
1 red-purple crossing pairs
1 green-purple crossing pair
2 green-yellow crossing pairs
1 purple-yellow crossing pair.
That gives 104-2*7=90 total walls.
Colorful loops.
