The eye exam is the perfect game design. That big E is a great tutorial that teaches you the basic mechanic. But it doesn't baby you and quickly gets hard as they introduce the small and blurry enemies.

My buddy Christopher is a professional chef who makes these cookies my whole family is obsessed with. He’s teaching a group of kids how to make them, so he asked me to make a comic version of the recipe. Hell. Yeah. 🪓

I'm an apostate these days, but: If you're having to use multiple layers of mental gymnastics to make Jesus say something other than "love everybody," then you've lost the plot. "Wait, even my enemy?" Yeah, especially them. He says it in that book you like.
"Hierarchies of obligations" are exactly what He came to annihilate, or re-annihilate, because they were always nothing. Do I love my own family more than I love the poor? Yes. Of course I do. I am human. So I pray for a greater heart, to increase my love for all human beings. That is my journey.

Health insurance industry PR is working overtime right now diverting blame to physicians for claim denials and rising costs. I feel compelled to remind everybody that Optum (UHC) is the largest employer of physicians in the US. We have never had less power in healthcare than we do right now.
