I while an atheist and fairly passionate about the separation of church and state i stayed the HELL away from the uni atheist club because all they wanted to do was debate about sexist crap and loudly support rape culture. Fish rots from the head, turns out.

When I started drafting my review of WH, I was going into the idea of being more nuanced and taking the movie for what it was. Having seen the movie--I am annoyed that this is the result people were being racist and co-signing whitewashing for. Y'all good?

Really not looking forward to the "Wuthering Heights" apologists who are going to act like it's a neutral stance to go "but it's fuuuun" about a movie that erases the essential struggle of its primary character.
