Strong disagree here. With so much of the weird stuff in college football getting rationalized out of existence we NEED 7-5 Duke to play for a conference title.
This might be an unpopular take ... but if I'm the ACC and Cal upsets SMU, I override the tiebreakers and put Miami in the ACC championship game against Virginia.

My favorite thanksgiving is still the one I spent at the house of one of my favorite bartenders when I was a restaurant worker in Raleigh. We cooked all day, drank beers, did burnouts on her 5-year-old son's tricycle, then all went to the bar to keep her company when her shift started that night
some of my happiest thanksgivings are orphans' thanksgivings, when one person has the large-enough house, work's keeping people stuck in a place they're not from, and everyone brings a dish
