As a southern girl moving north I was told “Chicago knows how to handle snow! It’ll be fine!” But the sidewalks are a MESS, y’all! A lot of residential areas seem handled by people like myself pitching in but the businesses and the city itself needs to get it in gear.
Sidewalks are not shoveled so I can’t walk safety and at least get exercise. I submitted as many 311 tickets for the sidewalks as I could but most look like absentee owners. Last pic is a bus stop though. #plowthesidewalks

Just speaking as a teacher, students can have opinions, not follow the directions at all, and be completely wrong while doing it. And they will get a failing grade because that's how it works. The core issue here is this student didn't follow directions bc they didn't like the TA being trans.

I wonder how many tiny snowplows they have? because my goodness, could they have done this earlier? This seems late to be making so much noise. Maybe they can run some leaf blowers also just for funsies

Happy Monday! I saw this ensemble in concert on Halloween night and it’s one of the best concerts I’ve ever been to. Fantastic talent crammed behind the (not that) tiny desk!
