I love it when the fanbois tell us we're just envious. Yeah, Pablo Escobar owned a lot of houses and shit too.

Unlike you, I can read and that’s why I know what the constitution says.
Trump on Ilhan Omar: "I look at somebody who comes from Somalia...and she comes in and tells us how to run our country. 'The Constitution says this, the Constitution says that.' The whole thing is crazy."

International Film Festival premiere selection will bring together former Tesla employees, insiders, & WB, people who bravely speak out about Tesla hidden practices, as well as close confidants of Musk. Also Benavides family who recently won the first-ever Autopilot accident case against Tesla.

They really screwed up the Threads opportunity. A critical mistake is that they kept it under the Instagram dude, and they just use it as a MAU funnel to Instagram. Should have its own product management. I left when Zuck turned on the sewage tap.
TIL
So if there are more daily active users on Threads, how come it never, ever enters the daily conversation or is cited as a breaking news source?
Zuck and Musk both cheat so who knows…

I don't care how Schumer himself votes. The bottom line is that as Senate Majority Leader, Lyndon Johnson would have last night had on his desk eight sealed mason jars with the severed hands of every senator who even thought about raising them to vote yes. As a majority leader should.

You have it right. #idiocracy #traitors
The party leaders who said “don’t talk about fascism, talk about health insurance costs” so much that everyone was mocking them are now caving to Republicans on health insurance.

Do I have this right?
The original Dem demands were:
1) Permanent ACA subsidies
2) Medicaid funding restored
3) No more blank checks for the regime (rescission)

They dropped Medicaid immediately. Went silent on rescission. Cut back to 1 year of subsidies on Friday. And surrendered today.

The Senate Democrats!

It really does seem like there's a decent chance that these senators screwed us because they don't want their personal Thanksgiving plans to be disrupted.
Anyway a great way to radicalize people is for them to realize that you just abandoned their chance at being able to access and afford health care because you didn’t like waiting in line at the airport.

To repeat: I have studied a lot of cases of autocratization over the past 15 years. Wrote about them, taught about them, consulting about them.

I do not recall an opposition so apathetic, ignorant, and inept as the @democrats.org. They cling to their power, rather than fight for democracy. Shame.

if the epstein files contained only democrats, republicans would have published them. If they contained only republicans, democrats would have published them. The logical conclusion here is a majority of people who hold significant power have spent time on a private island raping kidnapped children

If Democrats retake the Senate in 2026 and reappoint Schumer as majority leader because that’s just how things are done, it will be a profound blunder.

This guy is so weak, it’s really shocking.
SCOOP: Schumer was more involved than reported with the attempted cave on the government shutdown. The Gang of 8 Senate Dems had his approval & he was getting daily updates.
In Thursday's caucus meeting, the Gang claimed they had 10 votes to cave. The caucus went nuts, leading to the new proposal.

today: you fool, you idiot, Chuck Schumer has only appeared vaguely competent because his caucus actively revolted
