*Anything* which even remotely touches on social policing of women's physical bodies and the space we take up in the world - size, genitals, breasts (or absence thereof), haircut, gender presentation, height, clothing, *anything* - does the work of patriarchy. It is *all* connected.

So should SUV drivers pay more road tax? Have your say:

Should drivers of bigger cars pay more road tax?
Charges depend on emissions and vehicle value, but what about those heavy SUVs? When it comes to road duty, should size matter? We hear opposing views

1. Meta’s policy bans allegations of mental illness *unless* the person is LGBTQ, in which case you can falsely say the person is mentally ill:

(The policy uses the word “transgenderism,” echoing right wing terminology.)

African victims of clergy abuse deserve justice and accountability, too | Opinions
The Church of England is facing a long overdue reckoning in Africa.  Its leader, Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby, announced his resignation in November after an independent review brought attention to his failure to report to the authorities the barrister John Smyth, a prolific abuser of children. Smyth is found to have physically, sexually and psychologically abused more than 100 boys and young men over four decades at Church of England-affiliated summer camps in England, South Africa and my country, Zimbabwe.

The Church of England and its tolerance for abusers is a disgrace.
And these bishops who put the safety of children last, well behind their concern for the Church's reputation and fell feeling for their abusing colleagues, should absolutely not be in the House of Lords.
