I'm very bitter about how Nuzzi and her type set women (and specifically female journalists) back everywhere, and yet she's fine when many women are not, but also this saga is my "Young and the Restless." 🍿

And what you have now is a world largely devoid of editors
Editors have a really hard job, and the good ones can make something unreadable readable, and the great ones can make something unreadable into something good. But they're basically invisible, until someone tries to write without one.

Q: Seattle has 6 Cup games. How close are you gonna be watching that city with the crime?

TRUMP: If we think that the mayor of LA is incompetent -- everybody knows that. If they let the water come in that wouldn't have happened...if we think there's gonna be trouble, I would ask Gianni to move it

Man, my journalism career ended when all my editors got fired and I was ordered to stay at my desk and make slideshows instead of report on court trials, much less exciting. Instead of driving around L.A. blasting maudlin tunes in my Mustang, I watch "Hell's Kitchen" with my cat.
Can I upend my career in such a way that grants me an exclusive interview with the Times to promote my book
Olivia Nuzzi's memoir is a combustive portrait of America, President Trump and the scandal with Robert F. Kennedy Jr. that upended her career.

In an exclusive interview with The New York Times, she recalls the infatuation that consumed her, Kennedy’s use of psychedelics and much more.

Sometimes you run across an old quote that stops you cold. From a Jayson Stark article in January 2000:

I like Tarik Skubal, not least because he's really nice and accessible to my spouse, who interviews him for Seattle University stories. I love a down-to-earth king. People of much lesser stature are much bigger jerks to writers.

Excuse me, situation room?
Q: "Why are White House officials…meeting with Rep. Boebert in an effort to try to get her to not sign this petition calling for the release of the [Epstein] files?"

Leavitt: "I'm not going to detail conversations that took place in the situation room."

Democrats have been fighting for months to address America's healthcare crisis

For the millions who will lose coverage
For people with cancer who won't get the care they need
For working families who can't afford to pay $25K more a year for healthcare

We will keep fighting
