Talking to my daughter about my ADHD. She compared me to a working dog: I have to be stimulated with a task to perform with clear boundaries, else I may become hyperfocused on something useless, or even destructive. Thinking of myself as a neurotic spaniel makes so much sense.

Can we please just fucking stop debating whether blatantly horrible racist things are racist or not? Everyone knows they’re racist, even the nasty arseholes who say them. If you need to fill your 24/7 channels, stick on some cartoons or something. People are getting hurt by this culture of evil.

Perhaps the most ominous satellite presentation we've seen. Cat 5 Melissa within 2 hours of landfall in Jamaica. Winds at 185 mph (tied for 2nd highest on record). Pressure at 892 mb (tied for 3rd lowest). Will be one of strongest Atlantic storms to make landfall ever recorded.

I have genuinely never read any recruitment advertisment as avidly as I read this. And that includes jobs I was actually applying for. It's spellbinding.

Unless you're going to segregate your cleaning staff as well, even a designated Women's toilet isn't a single sex space.

Nobody should stand by and watch silently as a genocide takes place. We are all complicit because our government has made us so. We have to stop selling arms to Israel NOW. Allow food, water and aid to reach starving people NOW. Provide safe passage NOW. For too many, now is already too late.
