Saying Lord Doyle did not give a "full account" over his links with a convicted sex offender is an admission from Keir Starmer that he was indeed told. The fact he didn't press for more information, or even, oh, I don't know, withhold the peerage, just makes it worse.

Sir Keir Starmer was asked at Prime Minister's Questions about his decision to award a peerage to Lord Doyle.

At one point a media hysteria accused Tavistock risking to be sued by thousands.

Reality:

…8 complaints

……in 10 years

………for a clinic handling 12,000 users at any time

Yup.

Polling on trans issues is difficult to interpret. It becomes even more difficult when pollsters use politically charged terms like 'transgender ideology.'

Great new analysis by @billiejsweeney.bsky.social, only on Assigned Media.

Remember Simon Danczuk sexting that teenager? So many Labour men responded at the time with "I don't see what the problem is - she's over 16."

Which is exactly what the problem was. The age of consent is not the sole determinant of wrongdoing where imbalances of power exist.

Starmer: "My legacy is changing my party".

Sure, from a party of morally sound, honest and well-informed democratic socialists, to a party of ignorant, deceitful, genocide apologists and paedophila facilitators.

Unsolicited writing advice, no. 643: It may be tempting to include song lyrics in your work. (And why not? Stephen King does it all the time.) But beware; the rights to even a line of a song can run into the thousands of pounds- and the publisher will expect YOU to pay for them…

The number of people who think this is "sensible" politics and don't understand why it's a massive uncrossable red line for millions of Labour's supposed core constituency continues to blow my mind. All the minor percentage shifts in NHS waiting lists will never make up for this nativist cruelty.
Under Starmer, recognised refugees can no longer reunite with their children.

Recognised refugees.

Denied the right to reunite with their children.

It’s diabolical. Worse than anything the Tories did. & no, the racists are not & never will be satisfied.

So yes, he’s hated.
What these “but why do people hate Starmer SO MUCH” takes come down to is so shallow.

Starmer doesn’t sound or look like a firebrand so what’s the big deal?

Immune to questions of SUBSTANCE - he’s liar, enabled a genocide, pandered to anti-migrant politics & global Fascism.

The entire Tavistock scandal was over 8 complaints. They've fucked the entirety of trans and non binary peoples, because of 8 complaints, all of which have not materialised into anything as far as I can tell.
