Danny Tommo’s French invasion – all whimper, no bang.

The long-trumpeted “Operation Overlord” invasion of France finally landed on the beaches of Normandy yesterday.

Or rather, it washed up gently, with about a dozen men standing on the sand near Calais, waving flags at the sea.

Tommo’s former comrades have alleged he was planning to start riots in northern France.

He accused them of lying and raising huge amounts of money not being being spent on activism.
