It’s the little things: Was listening to Coil’s cover of “Tainted Love” for the first time in many moons. I realized Coil’s version is rewritten more in the past tense, while Soft Cell’s version is present tense. Given Coil covered the song in part in response to the AIDS crisis, that’s impactful.

It really cannot be emphasized enough that the Holocaust was modeled after the American campaign to displace and exterminate Indigenous people. This country drew up that blueprint.
Fascism isn’t new to the US. It’s always been here. It’s built into this country‘s DNA. Bigotry is our primary export. We just quantified and qualified it under the false title of ”freedom” because that’s what the masses here want & what (yht) ppl with guns & bibles as their personality like to hear
No kidding. I remember when our local government wanted record stores to track names of everyone buying metal records. (Maybe rap too and I’ve just forgotten?)

Something I find funny is how cos of the COVID pandemic & lockdown, we've all seen how so much of what we do is basically made up social constructs that we can instantly stop if we wanted to. But hey, we've all gotta keep running this rat race so we can further enrich the capitalist ruling classes.

Nah. This is 2026 and Whiteness is recodifying and gilding white supremacy into every single function of our lives. The only way to stop it is to shut it down, not make concessions to those who have no concept of adjusting. This is the year we leave placating liberalism; that's how we got here.
Phrases like "relinquish whiteness" turn people away from liberatory movements. Think about what that sounds like to the average white person who is unfamiliar with basically everything. This just sounds like racism to them. If you want more help, meet people where they are and lead them.
