This is the inevitable result of creating a gigantic bureaucratic apparatus solely for the purpose of denying help to people. Things like "fraud, waste, and abuse" end up being cited as a fraudulent rationale for dismantling the welfare state and holding needed funds hostage.
The Trump administration sent out letters tonight to 5 blue states, freezing about $10 billion in funding for child care and social services programs pending a "thorough review," citing concerns over "systemic fraud."

Yeah, it has long been the case that adult-oriented businesses have to be careful or risk the wrath of everyone from prosecutors to payment-processing companies, but "prominent social media company owned by world's richest person swiftly became world's largest CSAM producer" produces no reaction.

Similar but related: someone booked me to perform at her father’s 75th birthday party, which also had a pianist and an aerialist. This has only happened once, but I would absolutely do it again! Just in case any of you are in the market.
Years ago I knew a guy who occasionally did a gig playing piano live at orgies and I just think it would be pretty cool if someone booked live music for our scene.
