People with glasses and contacts have to realize that we have a disability that just happens to be highly accommodated for in modern society and that accommodation is the only reason why poor eyesight is not considered a disability.

One thing I know— most people’s cognitive dissonance is impenetrable; they will never have a sudden epiphany about how bad things are getting. It is up to us who understand to take direct action to fight the descent into overt fascism. Not wait for status quo-defending politicians to “save us.”
