There’s no “one weird trick,” guys. It’s about numbers, and presently we don’t have them.
They cannot defund ICE right now. That would require a veto-proof majority of republicans to repeal the OBBB. That’s literally impossible in our political reality

Trump’s partisan FBI has executed a search warrant at Fulton County, Georgia election office in connection with the 2020 vote. It’s a performative task to throw the MAGA base some red meat, and to distract from the Minneapolis killings, which in turn were a distraction from the Epstein files.

The scariest thing to me is, they could have EASILY said the agent has been suspended pending an investigation and our hearts go out to the victim's family. Any NORMAL functioning government "leader" could do that. But alas, that is not who some people elected to lead this nation.

I miss the days when short form social media was used for the little joys of logging on to see which minor celebrities were posting something witty or to see some sort of interesting news or life hack.
That stuff is still there, but life under Trump for the past decade has dominated everything.

Reminder: All it would take to end the murder of American citizens by an untrained government goon squad is 16 Republicans in Congress voting with Dems to defund ICE (or 23 to impeach and remove Trump — 3 in House & 20 in Senate). That’s it. 23 Americans can vote for the public and end all of this.
