common tactic used by police highlighted in the netflix documentary Victim/Suspect (2023). it allows them to close the case on the reported sexual assault/rape by painting the accuser as unreliable or lying, and allows them to record a separate arrest, padding their stats. disgusting.
jesus the Palm Beach Police really sought arrest warrants against underage Epstein victims for coming forward and cooperating, and (purported) admitting to crimes, and it caused the victims to become uncooperative with the federal investigation
