Been thinking about this a lot in the last year. I feel like some sort of reclaiming of "globalism", "cosmopolitanism", or something in that vein is in order
I'm developing a kind of cosmopolitan-chauvinism, I guess you could call it anti-feudalism, as a through line in my politics. The peasant-brained and the local landed gentry are the enemy. Sort of funny that this could describe being either rabidly capitalist or communist.

A more powerful world government isn't dystopian, it's literally the only productive way forward. The US giving itself effective veto power and exemptions from global agreements and the UN having no real enforcement power over any powerful nation has been an ongoing disaster for generations
Calling it early but i fully expect within my lifetime to see a temperence/prohibition-level movement against all forms of gambling if shit keeps going the way it has been the last decade
