I'm a huge fan of trigger warnings. If you don't want to read them - then don't! If you fear they will spoil the story - then don't read that page. They're not for you. But if someone does need them, I would much rather have the warning there than have someone ever be hurt while reading my book.
I wish that trigger warnings in fiction were normalized.
The only genre that takes them seriously is horror. It's not about sanitization or puritanism - it's an accessibility tool for readers with trauma and mental health challenges.

I'm a huge fan of trigger warnings. If you don't want to read them - then don't! If you fear they will spoil the story - then don't read that page. They're not for you. But if someone does need them, I would much rather have the warning there than have someone ever be hurt while reading my book.
