Some accuse Canada of not having its own culture, but duh it's young women on commercial snow tractors taking pity on windblown women in velvet jumpsuits and ploughing the ends of their driveways for free.

I regularly see people wondering how it's possible that there are so many musicians and writers and film makers and artists from a tiny nation like Iceland.

And the answer is really simple: State funding for art education and artists. I literally get a salary from the government to write books.
I’m constantly astounded at the sheer level of artistic production coming out of Iceland. Novels, movies, music. Amazing.

I går snødde det tett, noe som gav meg mulighet til å teste hvordan det ble hvis jeg tok bilder av småfuglene med lang lukkerhastighet slik at snøen laget striper.

Synes egentlig det ble en litt stilig effekt

REMEMBER: All the "Don't use em-dashes" "don't use rule of three" advice because it makes your writing "look like AI" is because they stole actual writers work, and their "predict the next thing" stuff just simulates what WE FUCKING DO. Keep writing well. Use every style and trick you have. Fuck AI.

Dang it. It could be different from country to country. I also know that I found it by accident while looking for something else, and don't know where to suggest it might be. The one thing I can never find in YT settings is the thing for which I'm searching. If I do find it, I'll report back.

This hasn't been happening to me, but sometime last year I stumbled into a part of the settings where I could specify that yes, I wanted to receive videos in English, French, Norwegian, &c. It improved the home-page suggestions, too. Hopefully that works for you, in your region, too?

Seems like yesterday. February 1996. I went to Pembrokeshire to take photographs of the oil spill impacts for use by eNGOs. I ended up helping rescue oiled seabirds. Sometimes you couldn't see one until a 'lump' in the crude oil moved slightly.

It was horrific. You never get over it.
"Those images they saw, that's the real price of oil."

One of the UK's most devastating oil spills happened 30 years ago, killing thousands of seabirds and turning the beaches of south Wales black. Never again. We need a clean, renewable future for our seas & wildlife.

There is good information here, and I agree with most of it, but can't agree that this is an either/or situation. Even if I were adequately supported in the meantime, I will need to use MAiD if my symptoms do not get me first. I signed the petitions for it, and I do not want the option taken away.
