I love how Real ID was so necessary for security they could punt its implementation for literal years, it’s still not fully adopted because states don’t have the capacity to do all the appointments, now it’s a $45 surcharge if you don’t have it but it also doesn’t count for anything if you do

Remember: The recipe for economic growth isn’t tax cuts for the rich. It’s investment in our people — in health care, infrastructure and education — to build a strong middle class.

You don't grow the economy through trickle-down nonsense.

@debbiedingell.house.gov voted to honor this person and his life’s work.

Yes, go to the funeral because a child of God with the potential for redemption died & you want to pray for him.

But why elevate and honor someone whose behavior was so the opposite of Christ’s teaching?

Standardized tests drive this-not teachers, nor parents, nor students, nor CC. Bush’s NCLB, textbook/testing cos own this! “By the time teachers get through their required curriculums and prep students for exams, they often have little or no time left to guide classes through a whole book”

men’s loneliness gets “more airtime”?

baby I have lived the past three decades of my life witnessing corporate media elevate men’s loneliness into a full-blown balls-to-the-wall CRISIS once every 4-5 years

still early days but the gop gerrymandering project relied on the usual democratic sad sack response of "ok, we'll take it" and instead the party (for a change) pushed back some and it is backfiring.

now, do that for literally everything else.
